Audrey Hinson is a gardener, childrens' advocate, and co-owner of Danno's Marketplace just to name a few. Danno's was established in January of 1996 with the intentions of being just a convience/deli. Over the past eight years we have noticed the increased numbers of malnourished children in this and surrounding communities of the marketplace. If this issue goes without notice many will grow experiencing health problems such as diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, cancer and other health problems facing our community. Danno's Urban Farm and Garden was formed to educate neighborhoods, similar to this problem, on how to make healthier choices. We all must promote healthier alternatives that will be benificial for the generations here and more to come.
